![]() ![]() I even tried re-applying the patch to an original disc ISO just to make sure and same thing. All bookshelves, NPC dialogue, searching of anything etc are all gibberish text with quickly disappearing text boxes. Same for the Item shop and any house (other than the HQ). Can't buy weapons as the game freezes when i try to buy something. Even going into the inventory screens shows gibberish and weird stuff. Searching bookshelves or inspecting anything just gives gibberish and text boxes that fly by without a button press. I will resume my game now and explore this village more thoroughly and add anything to this post that I find. All of their texts are just garbage that disappear immediately. ***Edit: It turns out all NPC's in the Stump Village church have this issue. Seems like a major issue since it causes the game to freeze up and makes it impossible to save at the church in Stump Village. If I keep talking to him over and over, I can see a text box full of garbage that briefly appears and disappears. Talking to him in front of the pulpit makes the game freeze up (music still plays) and talking to him behind his pulpit makes a text box appear briefly and disappear almost immediately. However, the Priest in Stump Village is glitched badly in V21, but I don't know if it was like that in V20 or V19 since I'm just getting here for the first time. I've been playing through SF3 for the first time and upgrading patches along the way. Though Dawn and Randolf are both very solid.Love your translations, guys. May starts great, she just has really costly spells.Īs for the tank in Book 2.Probably Rush. I would probably say Natasha is the better mage, given Attack, Egress - and the fact that Bolt Lv. Luke is obviously the best monk as he's the only one. The best tank? Depending on when you promote, it could be Apis or Randolf. Wendy's got Attack which serves her well - they're mostly on par, but I think Domingo is just a cut above them for his superb spell selection and ability to float. Yeesha is hard to train usually, save for her Slow spell which actually comes in handy a lot. He has the best spell selection in the entire game! He may have next to nil Defense, but he shouldn't be taking hits anyway. Cray's defense kinda stinks, but he DOES have Boost, which is a very useful spell, so ignoring raw stats, Cray has the better spell selection.ĭomingo is clearly the best mage of the three. Cray gets more Attack for a while, but Sig more often than not ties Cray in that and overtakes him in other stats. ![]() Last spot for either Amigo/Randolph/Shriek or Sig My 11 (since Lug is a requirement) for the last battle of Book 1 would be: Stock is far superior in my game to Shade.I actually like to use them both alot.but Stock is the best.he has the highest attack out of all my characters.īirdmen: Claude - another easy pick - not even going to go into it as at level 13.Claude is better at everything.alot better.įrom what I can see so far (assuming Amigo, Randolph arent awesome) Shade - Actually has more HP in my game (3 more) Stock - Better Attack, Defense, Agility, Movement Looking at the stats.Apis would be the best, with Kashing, Gyan close behind and Ruce although he came in 4th in most.his attack his high and he was actually only like 1 point off from Gyan or Kashing in each stat he lost in.īest Archer: Stock - This one isnt close in my book I am going to put a number next to where they rank in my game for that stat ![]() I am including Ruce, Gates, Gyan, Kashing, Apis I just found Domingo stats to be too low in this game unlike SF 1 (where he domninates, I was very un-happy with how they made him this time) Wendy is great and has over 50 MP in my game but her spell choices are not as good as Domingo or Yeesha, but I rank Wendy 2nd.īest Warrior/Tank: This one is tough. Wendy - Better MP - Better Agility - Sleepĭomingo - Better HP -Better Defense - Bolt, Desoul, Blaze, Freeze Yeesha - Better Attack - Bolt, Desoul, Muddle Sig - Better MP (15-20 more), better agility - DetoxĬray wins because of Boost 2 and attack and defense.īest Mage: Yeesha - Give her the Demon Rod and the Evil ring and she has high attack to go with Bolt. Only characters not at 13 are Randolph, Lug and Amigoīest Monk: Cray - My choice of Cray is actually closer then I thought it would be.Ĭray - Better HP (slightly), better attack, better defense - Boost Keep in mind, I am only at the end of book 1, but all my chars are level 13 after the Edmond battle in Chapter 14.
